History and background

Founded in 1993 by the late Dr. Eugene Bell, Professor Emeritus of Biology at MIT, the company’s original focus was researching regenerative-medicine technologies. Today, More than 100 employees strong, and growing, TEI Biosciences comprises an accomplished team of scientists, engineers, product development managers, manufacturing operators, QC/QA specialists, and sales and marketing professionals. The company has applied its expertise in regenerative medicine to develop and commercialize novel biologic products for a broad spectrum of soft tissue repair and reinforcement applications. We perform all R&D, product development, and manufacturing in our Boston facility.
